A graduate of UC Davis in Interior Design with a focus on Interior Architecture, Shannon has over fifteen years of design experience. From 1997 to 2007 she worked for Alice Wiley & Associates, Jeffrey Weisman (now Fisher-Weisman), both of San Francisco, ek Reedy Interiors in Jackson, WY and John Hermannsson, AIA of Redwood City. In 2008, she opened Shannon White Design, working in Jackson and on the San Francisco Peninsula.
She holds a certificate in AutoCAD from San Francisco State University. She also undertook specialized study in antiques, textile history, and decorative arts at Christie's in London. As part of her work toward a certificate in Sustainable Building & Design from Yestermorrow (a design/build school in Vermont) she has studied and built strawbale structures, worked with natural plasters and finishes and brings a solid understanding of Green Design principles and materials to your project.
Commitment to Environmental Stewardship
Because of her love of the mountains, Shannon splits her time between Jackson, Wyoming and California. She donates 1% of her gross revenues to the non-profit, 1% for the Tetons, which funds and otherwise encourages efforts furthering the long-term sustainability of the Teton region's extraordinary natural resources and related essential qualities.
